We are on the lookout for a talented PR & Marketing Assistant to assist and take ownership of tasks in our fast paced marketing ecosystem. You’ll be working with our award winning websites, which include the world’s largest online betting tips platform, bettingexpert.com and customisable odds comparison site, SmartBets.
PR and online marketing is key to our success. You will get to work on innovative marketing activities for our flagship brands across several of our top markets (including the UK, Denmark, Germany and Italy) to achieve maximum coverage and exposure throughout the press and online media. PR, video and social media will be the key channels you work with to help achieve this.
This is a creative, but detail orientated, role with a strong focus on execution of tasks. The working environment is fast paced, which will reflect in your personal development during your time at Better Collective.
Upload and optimise videos for our YouTube channels to improve discovery and conversion
Competitor Analysis and research gap filling content opportunities on YouTube
Conversion optimisation on top performing videos
Create monthly PR reports for management and relevant stakeholders
Contribute ideas with our PR agencies in weekly creative meetings
Write data collection briefs for our team of researchers for upcoming sporting events to create interesting newsworthy stories based on sports data and statistics.
Coordinate infographic creation for research pieces prior to releasing to media
Take ownership of B2B PR tasks, including monthly industry top lists
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
The content we create must be on brand, impactful and with a clear goal in terms of conversion - analytical skills and an interest in conversion optimisation are a must. It is also a huge advantage if you hold an interest in sports. If you hold an interest in sports betting, even better - as this is the audience we need to create top drawer content for.
Fluent in English
Studying towards a Marketing / Communications degree
Tech savvy, holds an interest in content creation
Strong understanding of PR
High level understanding of the social media landscape
High quality content writer who can turn datasets into compelling content
Comfortable in Excel and Powerpoint
Basic knowledge of SEO
A strong desire to learn
You are able to commit to working at least 20 hours per week.
