Marketing Automation Specialist

We are on the lookout for an experienced Marketing Automation Specialist to set up, manage and optimise the strategy, roadmap, and implementation of our Marketing Automation ecosystem on our awarding winning websites, which include the world’s largest online betting tips platform, bettingexpert.com and customisable odds comparison site, smartbets.com.

THE ROLE

Your task will be to tightly integrate these systems while onboarding and nurturing new users across different languages, sending them preference led communications across a range of verticals and devices, including web / app notifications, on-site notifications, on social media and via email.

You will be pivotal in designing our marketing systems and automation, defining key processes, building alignment with our design and development teams and deliver relevant and preference led communications for our community of users on a frequent basis. Success is defined as building an industry leading Marketing Automation Platform that accelerates engagement with our products and achieves improved user retention rates on our websites.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive the vision, strategy, roadmap, and implementation for Marketing Automation projects.
  • Manage the evolution of our Marketing Automation platform to become industry-leading.
  • Drive user retention with preference led communications across verticals.
  • Lead the implementation, and optimization of world-class Lead Nurturing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Design & Development to build a world class multi-device communications setup.
  • Work with our cutting edge feeds and APIs to deliver high quality automated content to our user base.  

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have at least two years prior experience in Marketing Technology, Marketing Automation, Lead Nurture processes, and flexibility to deal with the evolving marketing needs, new platforms and new verticals of communication. You will have a strategic mindset combined with hands-on systems experience. You will be systems driven, innovative, organized, and have strong communication and project management skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 years experience working with Marketo (or similar), and CRM platforms.
  • Marketo Certification is a huge plus.
  • 2+ years of solid Marketing Automation project management experience.
  • Experience integrating Marketo (or similar) with third party systems.
  • Expert knowledge of marketing technologies and industry best practices.
  • Proven experience with interactive marketing techniques including Inbound/outbound Marketing, Lead Generation & Nurture.
  • A strong background in Lead Generation programs, email marketing best practices, and Inbound Marketing is crucial.
  • Self-starter who works effectively within and across teams.
  • Comfortable making decisions in a dynamic and high velocity environment.
  • Test orientated; experience with A/B Testing, striving to constantly optimise the sales funnel.
  • Familiarity with buyer and user personas and adept at planning workflows.
